Portola High School's Visual Arts Program presents its annual showcase, Night of the Arts, on April 10. At the exhibition, artists display their creations from the school year on boards, creating thematic exhibitions with various media showcases. Junior Katelyn Wong and Principal John Pehrson observe her display, which combines interactive elements like Jenga with 2D artwork.

About the Contributors
Siri Kolanupaka, Opinion Editor
Siri Kolanupaka is the Opinion Editor for her second year on the Portola Pilot. She is excited to be able to write about current events. In her spare time, she likes spending unnecessary amounts of time window shopping and trying different coffee shops with her friends to see which one has the best drinks. Her favorite drink at the moment is matcha (she’s not performative though, she promises!)
Catherine Li, Editor-in-Chief
Catherine Li is an Editor-in-Chief for her third and final year on the Portola Pilot. You can find her working on her paintings at the last minute while drinking badly mixed coffee that will probably make her sick. This year, she’s finally found the verb in Cicero and has retired from thinking about dead French men. Louis Antoine de Saint-Just can still hit her up though, if he wants.
