Scholarship Opportunities for Seniors
With the national student loan debt reaching an all-time high of $1.7 trillion in 2020, prospective college students must find ways to cut costs of room and board, tuition and other education-related expenses.
“Especially for high school seniors who are planning to pursue higher education, scholarships make education more accessible,” senior Alice Li said. “I personally didn’t have much information about scholarships before entering senior year, so it would be more beneficial to have more information and resources on it.”
Current seniors can apply to the scholarships above if they meet the eligibility criteria. Many entail applications similar to those for college admissions including academic records, letters of recommendation and a personal statement.
