Sticky Heapings of Personality: The Stories of Laptop Stickers around Campus
Sophomore Jesper Nguyen said he finds that most people are “quite surprised” to learn that the MacBook, adorned with stickers flaunting USC merchandise and puppies, is actually his. Nguyen inherited his sister’s old laptop along with the attached stickers, despite Nguyen’s personal wish to not attend USC. “It’s the University of Spoiled Children; that’s why they call it USC,” Nguyen said. “Also she stole all my tuition money, or at least that’s what I’d like to believe, so just in spite, I’ll apply to UCLA instead of USC.”
