Carmel deLites are one of the most popular Girl Scout cookie flavors, but there are many other delicious options to choose from.

Girl Scout cookies are some of the most coveted sweets in America, and their vast variety make them delicacies that leave indulgers craving more. Every spring, young scouts around the country sell cookies to build goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics skills, according to the official Girl Scout website.

For many, choosing which of the 12 cookie flavors to buy can be quite the struggle, but here are our top picks for 2019’s cookies.

1. Thin Mints:  Thin Mints, one of the most popular cookies consists of a crunchy chocolate interior, with a layer smooth chocolate on the outside and sprinkled mint oil on top. The rich and fresh taste of this flavor makes it our most bingeable cookie.

2. Caramel deLites: A close second, Caramel deLites are a perfectly-balanced recipe of cookie, caramel, chocolate and coconut flakes. We love the sweet taste that the caramel gives the cookie, but, on the flipside, we do not love the stickiness and flakiness of the coconut sprinkles.

3. Girl Scout S’mores: One of the newer flavors on this list and one of our favorites has a mix of all your favorite flavors from the classic s’more with graham crackers, chocolate and a cream in place for the marshmallow. If you love s’mores, they are a great substitution, and you’ll be sure to love these cookies like we did!

4. Lemonades: An average sugar cookie with a lemony base that provides a sweeter flavor compared to some of the other cookies. However, without the tangy sweetness of Lemonades, it wouldn’t be anything special.

5. Thanks-A-Lots: These shortbread cookies with a chocolate bottom are a hit. With a crunchier texture than other flavors, Thanks-A-Lots are a reliable buy for cookie lovers but do not stand out as much as the other flavors.
