Every student is welcome to audition for this year’s play, “The Heart of the Matter,” directed by drama and Literary and Language Arts teacher Jeanne Jelnick. Auditions will be held on Sept. 11 and 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the theater.

“We were forced to limit it in the first two years because of the size of the program,” Jelnick said. “The hope is that by opening, we will grow the program, because nobody in drama is required to participate… but someone who can’t find room in their schedule for drama can get involved through the productions.”

There will also be make-up auditions during office hours on Sept. 14 for those who cannot attend the after school auditions. Students can ask about auditions by emailing [email protected] or visiting Jelnick in room 951.
