Elise Ngo is a Social Media Manager for her first year on the Portola Pilot. If not listening to her favorite musicals or walking her labradoodle, you can find her running her 28th lap around the track, thinking about how to buy more Vaporflys, or finding time to go to karaoke with Maddie. She is looking forward to making memories in the newsroom with her divine Pilot peers.

The Halloween costume contest is an important competition for the math department and takes many months to plan, according to math teacher Shelley Godett. “We started talking about it the first week of school,” Godett said. “Because everyone wants dibs on a good costume.”
