Claire Chan is a staff writer for her first year on the Portola PIlot. She is looking forward to learning about the different types of journalism this year. Outside of school, she enjoys solving the Rubik’s cube, making origami cranes, and reading murder mystery books. She also likes playing the kalimba and doing tarot.
