Farhad Taraporevala, News Editor

Farhad Taraporevala is your 2019-2020 Co-News Editor for his fourth year as a part of the Portola Pilot. He is excited to work on the news section for his third year in the newspaper. He is a Life Scout in Troop 606 and the Brass Captain of the marching band, where he plays the trumpet. For fun he plays volleyball or football, biking and enjoys reading. He also enjoys watching the Pittsburgh Steelers with his dog Toni.

The boys’ team takes the field, excited to start the second half on their way to a commanding 3-0 victory.

The bench looks on as the team controls the game. The team generally rotates players throughout the games in order to keep the energy level high. The Bulldogs’ jovial attitude throughout the game helped keep spirits high and ensured a fun experience for all players.

Senior Mustafa Hassan plays the ball forward in the midfield to start up the attack. The Bulldog midfield was crucial in helping control the game and dominate the Beckman side in possession.

Donavan Miller practices his passion daily, teaching ceramics and studio art classes. Miller took these classes in high school and hopes to inspire his students the same way he was, Miller said.
