Aadi Mehta, Staff Writer

Aadi Mehta is serving as a second-year Portola Pilot Staff Writer for the 2021-2022 school year. Aadi is excited to be able to work with new and returning journalists and learn more about the news process in a working environment. He is proud to be on the Editorial Board, realizing his strength lies with opinion articles. This year, Aadi is starting his fourth year with Portola Track & Field and taking his second AP class. Outside of school, Aadi is a Black Belt in Taekwondo, serves as a leader in Boy Scouts, plays a percussion music instrument called the Tabla, and tutors in mathematics and English. In his free time Aadi likes to read, play basketball, listen to music, and watch movies. He is a news junkie and follows politics and current events daily. Aadi loves to swim and has been on the local swim team. He is a sports enthusiast. His favorite teams are the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He is very outgoing and social, and loves to travel as well.
