Celine Lee is this year’s co-editor-in-chief for her third and final year on the Pilot! She is beyond excited to make the most out of her senior year with her friends and everyone on the Pilot. When she’s not editing articles or telling people to follow the Portola Pilot on Instagram (it’s @portolapilot by the way), she is most likely writing poems that she will never let anybody else read, daydreaming while listening to loud  music, or scouring her closet for any old clothes she can sell on her Depop.

During his time at Portola High, mental health specialist Steven Sturm has been a part of school-wide initiatives promoting positive mental health and suicide prevention, while also meeting with individual students in need of mental health support. “I just want to leave an impact on people and help them if theyre struggling,” Sturm said. “And thats really what Ive developed my career around. And thats what I want to do wherever I go.”
