Dheeksha is a new Staff Writer this year in the Portola Pilot. She is excited to discover new things about the world around us and share it with our school through the field of journalism. Apart from journalism, Dheeksha is also super interested in psychology and neuroscience. She hopes to one day write a research paper regarding the field to be published and involve herself more in helping others understand mental illnesses and the stigma that surrounds them. In her free time, you could see Dheeksha either playing with her puppy or reading a book while sipping on some cold chocolate.
